For World Water Day 2026, the United Nations asked us to explore the critical relationship between water, women, and gender equality. The global water crisis affects everyone – but not equally. Where people lack the human rights to safe drinking water and sanitation, inequalities flourish, with women and girls bearing the brunt.
Water for equality means SAFETY — being able to meet a basic human need without fear. Providing safe, accessible water close to home and school transforms lives, enabling women to participate fully in society. To mark World Water Day 2026, Acorn Water proudly supported Concern Worldwide’s clean water initiative in Kenya. Our donation will help ensure students and teachers gain reliable access to safe, life-changing water.
Where water flows, equality grows.
